Beat the FiT degression and get the best rate for your Solar PV system.
DECC has just announced proposals to significantly reduce the Solar PV Feed-in Tariff for the January 2016 degression. The current rate of Feed-in Tariff (12.92p per kW for systems up to 4kWp) will be reduced to 12.47p per kW from 1 October 2015. The current proposal is to then reduce this in January 2016 to 1.63p per kW.
Capacity | Feed-in tariff rate (p/kWh) |
0-10kW | 1.63 |
10-50kW | 3.69 |
50-250kW | 2.64 |
If you are considering a Solar PV system we would strongly advise that you act now to take advantage of the higher rate Feed-in Tariff. Any systems that would require planning permission or DNO approval should start the process now to avoid missing the deadline.
We are anticipating a high uptake in PV installations with people trying to beat the degression, so we would encourage you to get in touch with us as soon as possible..
